Al Vogan was born on March 22, 1932. He grew up for the greater part of his youth in San Francisco, California. He was one of four children. Al graduated from Galileo High School and went on to have a distinguished career in Aviation. His passion for his work allowed him to travel the globe and offered him the opportunity to live on three continents. He loved to work with his hands and had a knack for anything mechanical. He could fix anything. He was the kind of man that loved his work and could talk about aviation all day long. Al will be remembered most by his storytelling and quick wit. He had a unique and charming personality and knew how to make anyone grin from ear to ear. By far his greatest passion was for his family. He is survived by his four daughters, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He spent his retirement years surrounded by his family and lived out his favorite and final role as "Papa". We will never forget his unique and infectious personality. He will always be with us and remind us to love family, be generous, and always laugh.
