Surrounded by his family, Anthony "Tony" Talamo passed away on Monday, November 12th, at his home in Woodstock, Georgia at the age of 76. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather.

Tony was born on September 21, 1942, in Alia, Sicily to Filippo and Gaetana Talamo.  He moved to the United States from Italy at the age of 13.  At the age of 27, Tony married Anna, the love of his life, who he would spend the next 49 years with.  Together, they raised two children.  He is survived by his wife - Anna, two children - Philip and Adele (Brian), three grandchildren - Dylan, Tyler, and Taylor, brother - Sal, and sisters - Anna, Josephine, and Marie.  He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother - Russell, and sister - Connie.

Tony worked hard to provide for his family.  He loved to watch his children play sports and rarely missed a game.  He enjoyed golfing and playing cards with friends.  He loved to work in his garden and enjoyed showing it off to anyone who was willing to see it.  Tony had an incredible personality, loved his family and friends beyond measure, and was always the life of the party.

Five years ago, he moved from Florida to Georgia to be closer to his grandchildren.  Dylan, Tyler, and Taylor were his pride and joy, and he enjoyed nothing more than watching them on the field and on the court.

To know Tony was to love him.  He had the outer shell of a tough Italian, but we all knew he had a heart of gold.  He will be greatly missed, but he will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 17th, from 3:00-5:00, with a Memorial Service at 5:00 at Lakeside Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 27th, at 10:30 am, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton, FL 33433

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Palm Beach School for Autism .
