Barbara Lee Bowman, age 92, of Alpharetta, Georgia, formerly, of Naples, Fl, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior.

Barbara was born on August 1, 1933, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Viola Hinkle and George Hinkle.

She was married to Robert Bowman of Naples, Florida, where she built a successful career in real estate sales. During her time in Naples, Barbara was actively involved in civic and community life. She was a dedicated member of several organizations, including the Inner Wheel Club, the Zonta Club, and Optimist International. A woman of deep faith, Barbara was also a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Naples.

Barbara was very active and always ready for an adventure – she was fearless! She liked anything shiny and sparkly. She enjoyed going on airplanes, hot air balloons, and motorcycles. And if you needed anything done, Barbara, "mighty mite" could do it. There was a lot of stamina, courage and strength in that little 4'11' body!

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Shelia Frey (Gerard), daughter, Trudy Davies-Davis (Jeff), stepson, Mark Bowman and brother Walter Hinkle (Victoria).

Barbara leaves behind 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren that will certainly miss her love and kisses: Wes Frey (Thea), and Rachel Frey, Jake Davies, Max Davies and

Michael Bowman (Robin). She also leaves behind two cherished great-grandchildren, Lucas Bowman and Grace Bowman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Dr. Woodstock, GA 30188 on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm.
