Mr. Benjamin Marion Beavers, age 79, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on December 26, 2024, at Wellstar Tranquility. Mr. Beavers was born on September 19, 1945, to Ben H. and Eather Beavers in Woodstock, GA.

Ben was married to Judy Beavers for 21 years. His hobbies included going to Pow-wows and nature facilities and raising birds. He loved collecting odd and unique items. He was an animal whisperer, Ben had a unique gift with animals, such as feeding a wild hawk and racoons.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ben H. Beavers; mother, Eather Beavers; two brothers, Charlie and Lamar Beavers; six sisters, May Ponder, Nole Howards, Effie Howards, Jewel Chesters, Lily Beavers, and Sara Evans.

Ben is survived by his loving wife, Judy Beavers of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Kathi (Timothy) McDonald of Cave Spring, GA; two grandsons, Dustin and Johnathon Burkhalter of Cave Spring, GA, and many nieces and nephews.

Ben will have a visitation on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Lakeside Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and a funeral service at Little River Methodist Church on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the church's cemetery after the service.
