Mrs. Davis was born on March 28th, 1930 in Chickamauga, GA to Roy and Arizona Mallicoat.

She lived in Georgia for most of her life, with a few years spent in Florida.

As a young girl and only child, Betty enjoyed helping her dad work on cars. She learned to drive at 14. Mom taught her how to bake biscuits, cornbread and fried pies. This girl loved basketball, piano, singing and Jesus.

She attended business school and worked various administrative assistant jobs throughout her career. Betty met the love of her life, Eddie, while working at a fruit stand. He was attending bible college at the time. She became a mother to one child but was also a second mom to missionaries. She worked alongside her husband in various ministry capacities in churches, revivals and conferences while maintaining a full-time job. This adult woman had a strong purpose. She was devoted to her family and Jesus.

When senior adult Betty retired, she spent time with her only grandchild and found time for new things. She discovered crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, cats, birdwatching and watching tennis. This person was very generous, self-sacrificing and still loved Jesus. She was a long-standing member of First Baptist Church Woodstock. The strength, adaptability, resilience and love for her family that she embodied throughout her life was evident up until the very end of her life.
