Jean Millsapp passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on November 28, 2018 at The Oaks Assisted Living in Woodstock, Georgia.

Born on June 7, 1937 in Tennessee, Jean lived most of her life in Georgia where she met and married the love of her life, Howard Millsapp.   Jean retired from Lockheed after over 40 years of service as an Executive Secretary there.

Jean is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Howard Millsapp, of Acworth, Georgia.  Also surviving her is her sister, Frances Lawler Fowler of North Carolina.  Other surviving family members include her sister-in-law Brenda Lawler of Marietta, Georgia; brother-in-law Luther Millsapp of Marietta, Georgia; sister-in-law Frances Millsapp Kuykendall and her husband, Archie Kuykendall, both of Ellijay, Georgia; Shirley Millsapp Verner and her husband, Edward Verner, both of Woodstock, Georgia.  Jean will be missed by several surviving nieces and nephews:  Jerry Millsapp and his wife, Brenda; Tony Millsapp and his wife Angela; Darryl Kuykendall; Randy Kuykendall and his wife, Michelle; Brian Verner and his wife; Amanda; Daniel Verner; Jennifer Verner Ready and her husband, Frank; Kara Sutton and her husband, Dave; Kristie Andraschko and her husband, Scott; Nora Locklear and her husband, Johnny; Tommy Fowler and his wife; Bill Fowler and his wife; Bucky Fowler; Jimmy Williams; Arlene Williams Weems and her husband.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lawler; her mother, Rachel Lawler; her sister, Barbara Lawler Verhulst; her brother, Robert Lawler.

Private Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, from 4:30 pm to 5:00pm for Immediate family.

Family and Friend's visitation will follow on Friday, November 30,  from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Saturday, December 1, from 1:00pm to 9pm, and on Sunday, December 2, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm
