Bradley (Brad) Lanier Cox, age 50, of Woodstock, GA, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 21, 2021, due to Covid related illness.
Brad was born on November 2, 1970, in Albany, Georgia. He graduated from Etowah High School (Woodstock, GA). Brad and his father, Bobby, and brother, Robby, worked closely in the family real estate investment company.
Brad had more family, dear friends, and colleagues than anyone could possibly count.
He was a mentor to many in life as well as in song, playwriting, and acting. Although very well respected and loved in the Christian faith community and musical world (including being the lead singer of both "Glory Bound" and "Steadfast" quartet groups), Brad valued God and Family first. This was very apparent in his daily actions. He was a man after God's heart and because of that, he loved well and lived well. He was always ready for the next adventure. He loved to travel and most importantly, travel with the ones he loved.
In addition to his wife, Piper, Brad is survived by his 3 children and 4 stepchildren.
Callie Cox, Cammie (Isaac) Condrey, Christian Cox, Ryan Welch, Drew Welch, Cassie Welch, and Ashlynn (Hector) Welch. 5 grandchildren, Levi, Emery, Luka, Aycen, Monroe, and another on the way. His father and mother, Bobby and Beverly Cox, brother, Robby (Trina) Cox, sister-in-law, Allison Cox Ray, nieces, Rachel and Emily Cox, and nephew, Kaleb Cox.
Brad is preceded in death by his brother, Brian Cox.
Brad is a member of First Baptist Church Woodstock. Although we miss Brad terribly, we take comfort that he is Present with the Lord.
