Obituary

Camden Quentin Johnson (Cam Cam) of Canton, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, at 2:46 pm at the age of 10 following a medical emergency. He was born on February 16, 2016, in Atlanta, GA to Colt and Shanda Johnson. Camden had a quiet strength and fought fiercely from the moment he was born against multiple medical conditions including Alagille Syndrome, Rickets, and Growth Hormone Deficiency. He faced each diagnosis, surgery, and doctor's appointment with the courage of a true warrior.

Camden was a talented golfer who loved his family and friends beyond measure. He was the best big brother to Crew, and loved his dog Tucker. He loved video games, Taco Bell, teriyaki chicken and rice, sushi, cruises, golf cart rides, dance parties, throwing the football at the pool with his dad and friends, and movies nights with his family. He could be found playing outside with his best buddies and neighbors daily.

Camden was often described as the sweetest boy who was meticulous and organized, always paying attention to the smallest detail, had incredible strength, an empathetic heart, a goofy personality, and an old soul who loved to laugh. He always put his loved ones before himself. Camden affectionately referred to himself as a "big back" and would tell his mom, after eating an enormous meal, "Mom, you know I'm a big back. Come on girl and let's see what else I can eat."

Camden is survived by his parents Colt and Shanda Johnson; his brother Crew Johnson; his grandparents Lisa and Tony Gavin (Gaga and Papa), Doug and Tamara Johnson (Grandpa and Mimi), Randy and Mona Smith (Grandy and Momo); his aunts and uncles Sabra and Todd Gordy, and Chase Johnson; his cousins Maicee Gordy and Cheyenne Johnson.

Camden was deeply loved, fiercely cherished, and will never be forgotten. His family and friends will carry his laughter, his love, his goofy spirit, and his beautiful heart with them forever.

To celebrate Camden and the things he loved, we invite you to wear your favorite golf, weekend, or play clothes. Come as Camden would have, comfortable, casual, and in your Crocs.

Light refreshments, including Chick-fil-A will be served.

A celebration of Camden's life will be held at a later date, where we will gather to honor his life, share memories, and celebrate the joy he brought to all who knew him. Details will be shared once finalized.
