Our beloved mother, Carolyn Cash Burnett, passed away into God's graces surrounded by her children on August 29, 2023. A warrior throughout her life, she was taken after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at 74 years old. She is survived by her daughter Beth Molley (Kevin), her son Chip Burnett (Ashley), and her cherished grandchildren; Caroline, Collin, Mason, Abigail, Trey, and Aubree. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and John Cash and her brother, Johnny Cash.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Carolyn. She loved an evening with friends, looking at the night sky, enjoying the latest movie, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and cheering on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Carolyn was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She loved spending time with her loved ones, including attending her grandchildren's ballgames who lovingly called her "G".  Although our hearts are hurting, we are comforted that she is with Jesus and no longer in pain.

A celebration of life service will be held for Carolyn on September 16th at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA. The family will have a visitation at 9:30 am, with the service beginning at 10:30 am. A reception to immediately follow at 1001 Wellesley Crest Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
