Charles "Chuck" Eugene Edwards IV, passed away on January 11, 2019 at home in Marietta, GA.

Chuck was born on August 31, 1956, in Washington, DC. He was a graduate of St. Johns College High School in 1974, and graduated from Georgia Tech in 1979, with a degree in Industrial Management Engineering.

He started his career at Miliken in LaGrange, Georgia and later worked at Ace Mailing Services, in Smyrna, GA., Garr Consulting Group/Deloitte & Touche in 1990, The Coca-Cola Group in Atlanta, and was recently employed at RSM US LLP, as a Consulting Manager Supply Chain.

Chuck was a coach for the Girl's basketball team at St. Joseph School, and the Boy's Middle School basketball team while our daughters attended school there. His hobbies included cooking (which was his first love), college football, basketball, soccer, hockey, Indy, Formula One and NASCAR racing. He loved Ice Hockey and was a goalie for both his soccer team in High School and a street hockey recreational team for years. Some of his favorite teams were GA Tech, Atlanta United and Barcelona. He also loved the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves.

He volunteered at Transfiguration Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic School and at Mostly Mutts. Chuck loved animals and will be greatly missed by our Elvis, Snickers and Spencer.

Chuck was a man of strong faith and loved God, his family and his country. He was a very loving, husband, father, son, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his Father; Dr. Charles E. Edwards, his in-laws Joseph and Ruby Lazenby and brothers-in-law; Randy and Larry Lazenby.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, daughters; Erin and Beth of Marietta, his mother, Elizabeth Edwards, of California, MD., sister; Sharon Edwards of Oakland, CA., brothers; Michael (Becky) Edwards of Leonardtown, MD., John (Paul Albergo) Edwards of Washington, DC., four nephews and one niece.
