Obituary

Christopher Ray Forte, 47, of Woodstock, GA passed away in his home on August 7th, 2025 surrounded by his family. Chris was born on September 8th, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee where he resided for his childhood before moving to Georgia to pursue his Associate's Degree. He worked as a Digital Technician for AT&T for 25 years, where he installed and maintained 911 systems across the Atlanta region.

Outside of his career, Chris enjoyed spending time with family and friends, seizing the moment through pursuing any and all types of adventure. Whether it was through camping, hunting, traveling, running, building, etc., he loved to learn, and to share his knowledge and experiences with all those around him. He was a kind, devoted, and loving husband, and an incredible dad to his two girls, a wonderful son, brother, uncle, & friend. His deep love for Christ, his family, and friends was best defined by his selflessness and generosity, as he constantly sought out ways to help others.

He battled a rare form of metastatic melanoma for many years prior to his passing and will always be remembered as a fighter. He was well known for his humor and ability to make us all laugh. His wit and bright spirit kept his light shining on all those around him, up until the very end when he was taken home to be with The Lord, and he entered into eternal joy and peace. He is forever loved and deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife: Jennifer Forte, his daughters: Jess and Jenna Forte, his parents: Mickey and Joe Forte, his sister, brother-in-law, and nephews: Lauren, Kenny, Zeke, and Luca Ramsey, his aunts, and many cousins.
