Connie Sue Dickerson, age 62, of Canton, GA. passed peacefully, on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

Connie was born on June 13, 1958 to loving parents, Henry and Elberta Fowler Chambers. She was a loving, caring, wife, mother and nana. Her sole purpose in life was to take care of her husband, children, and grandchildren. Not only did she take care of her family, Connie did the same for her brothers and sisters. She was a loving friend, with a heart of gold, who was always there when you needed her. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, online shopping, talking on the phone and spending time with her friends, family, and furbaby "Pebbles". She never cared for animals UNTIL she got Pebbles, a constant companion during her illness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Byron and Ricky Chambers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years; Randy, sons; Eddie (Shawn) Dickerson, and Jeremy Dickerson, grandchildren; Joey Dickerson, Lindsey Dickerson, Shane Dickerson, Alyssa Dickerson, and Harley Fain, great grandchild; Avianna Rose Dickerson, siblings; Dwight (Linda) Chambers, Karen (Tony) Bohannon, and Tina (Jeff) Pearson, special daughter; Samantha, best friends; Debbie Cook Duffey and Beverly Yates Rousseau. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends also survive.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Lakeside Funeral Home.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lakeside Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Duffey officiating.

Interment to follow at Hopewell Baptist Church, on Hornage Road, in Ball Ground.
