On August 21st, 2020 Coral 'Coriss' Luna Aguirre passed peacefully at home in Woodstock, GA, surrounded by her loved ones.
Coral was born in Indio, California on July 25, 1977. From a very early age Coral showed a passion for dance. She danced jazz, tap, and ballet professionally for 10+ plus years. She also did acrobatics for 3 years and studied Folkloric ballet in Guadalajara Mexico. In 1996 she was given the honor of performing in the opening ceremonies of the summer Olympics in Atlanta. It was an experience of a lifetime and one that she would never forget. After Graduating high school she studied at North Metro Tech and began working at Ryder shared services corporate offices. She also began working as a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance studios teaching ballroom dancing. During the summers she would go to Mexico and volunteer as an event Coordinator in the Festival De Mariachi where Mariachis from all over the world came to preform. She loved her Mexican heritage and was "Chivista de corazon."
In her spare time she would volunteer her time to organizations like the American heart Association, Galeo, and would help organize events bringing awareness to Breast Cancer through TEAM PINK.
Anyone who knew Coriss knew that she had the purist and most sincere heart. She was truly beautiful inside and out. She had a smile that would light up an entire room and when she laughed you couldn't help but laugh and smile with her. Her presence was absolutely magnetic, and she was the type of person that would always leave you feeling better than you did before. Being a big sister made her so proud and she was the best sister in the world. Her Family was her drive and she would defend them against anything. Her heart is what made her so special and unique. She was selfless, the most genuine, loving and caring person. She would always go above and beyond for her friends and family, and she never once asked for anything in return. Her passing has left a huge hole in her family's hearts but she will never be forgotten.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her parents Raul and Luz Aguirre, her sister, Crystal Aguirre, her brother, Raul Aguirre Jr, Sister in law, Lauren Aguirre, and all her family and friends.
