It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Edwin Travis Durham Sr., 80, of Woodstock, GA. He passed away February 10, 2024, with his beloved wife Janice by his side.

Ed Durham, better known as Pawzee, was a devoted Christian, cherished father and grandfather, and beloved friend. As someone who was able to enjoy retirement earlier in life than most, Ed found immense joy in traveling and spending time with his loved ones. We, the family, find peace in knowing Ed was reunited with his dog, Riley, in the great beyond. Ed was diagnosed with Melanoma brain cancer and fought a long and tough battle. To know Ed was to love him and his warm, easy-going spirit and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents: Idella and Johnny Durham (Atlanta Ga), sisters: Joyce Akins (Marietta Ga), Helen Croker (Atlanta Ga), brother: Bill Durham (Woodstock Ga).

He is survived by his wife Janice of 61 years, daughter: Tabetha Durham, son: Travis Durham (Michelle) and his 2 grandchildren (Trey Durham aka: Pawzee's Buddy and McKenzie Durham aka: Pawzee's Pretty Girl).

A gathering of friends and loved ones will take place at Real Life Christian Church (formerly called Woodstock Christian). Family will receive guests on February 25, 2024, from 3:00-4:00 pm with the service starting at 4:00 pm.
