Ellie McBride Pruitt was born on October 20, 2011 in Canton, Georgia.  She walked into the loving arms of Jesus on February6, 2020 at the age of 8.

Ellie is survived by her parents, Chuck Pruitt of Canton, Georgia and Heather Pruitt of Canton, Georgia; her brother, Luke Minor of Canton, Georgia; her grandparents, Ross and Paula Anderson of Fairburn, Georgia; her grandparents, Earnest and Athene Pruitt of Cumming, Georgia; her uncle, Scott Anderson of Montgomery, Alabama; her uncle, Clint Pruitt of Cumming, Georgia; her cousin, Logan Anderson of Montgomery, Alabama; her cousin, Emma Pruitt of Hoschton, Georgia and numerous friends from Carmel Elementary, Woodstock City Church, and Dance and Music Academy.

Ellie loved anything crafty!  She loved painting, drawing, and creating.  She enjoyed dancing at Woodstock Dance and Music Academy where she had taken classes for 4 years.  Ellie also enjoyed playing the piano.  She loved school and learning!  She adored church and wished she could go there every day.  Ellie always enjoyed vacations at the beach – she would sit in the sand for hours and soak up the majestic site.

Ellie was a wonderful friend to everyone and such a kind soul.  She was the kind of young girl that everyone loved because of her caring heart and loving personality.  Ellie will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her and even those that have only heard of her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home.  A second visitation will be held Monday February 10, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home.  A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, February 11 at 1 pm at Woodstock City Church.  Ellie would love some flowers but for those that would like, donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Arthritis Foundation, the Lupus Foundation, or the Egleston Children's Hospital.

Interment to follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.
