Mr. Elton Ray Pace, age 81, of Woodstock and Cordele, GA, passed away Saturday, October 5th, 2019.

Ray was born April 8 ^th , 1938 in Bragg City, Missouri. As a dedicated and loving father and grandfather, Ray enjoyed farming, hunting and baseball. His life's mission was to care for his three girls. Everyone who knew Ray was touched by his generosity, kindness, and willingness to speak his truth. Ray was an entrepreneur who came from the cotton fields of Missouri and built Pace Drywall and Pace Farms.

Ray is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather Clarence Monroe Clark and grandmother Bertie. Also preceded by mother Mary White Clark Pace, father William Ashley Pace, brother Dr. Jacky Wayne Pace and brother in-law Elvis Henson.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Cindy (Karl) Robertson, Sherri (Bobby) Outlaw and Tammy (Stan) Perkins; 9 grandchildren: Matthew Robertson, Anthony Robertson, Christopher Robertson, Kyle Robertson, Heather Outlaw Bridges, Brandon Outlaw, Jace Perkins, Jack Perkins and Kaje Perkins; 5 great grandchildren: Brooke, Jade, Carson, Cooper and Mackenzie. Also survived by a sister, Carolyn Pace Henson; a brother, William Ashley Pace and sister in-laws, Maxine Pace and Bonnie Franzen Pace.

Family would like to recognize honorary pallbearers; Ray's son in-laws, grandsons, Leon Arant, Ron Arant, Brent Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Matthew Bennett, Wendell Bridges, Leon Castillo, Rick Friel, John Perry, Andy Powell, Doug Powell, Jerry Scott, Al Tedders and Brent Peebles.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12 ^th , 2019 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Lakeside Funeral Home 121 Claremore Drive, Woodstock, GA 30188, phone: 770-293-2757.

Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 ^th , 2019 at 6:00pm at Lakeside Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Service is scheduled Sunday, October 13 ^th , 2019 at 1:00pm at Ray's farm, 1067 Powell Road, Pitts, GA 31072. This service will be followed by fellowship and dinner provided by the family.
