Evelyn Jean Court Mark, 73, of Jasper, GA, formerly of Eustis, FL, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 9th surrounded by her family.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Virgil and Arlene Court. After graduating high school, she moved to Lake County, FL, to attend nursing school and was a dedicated and caring nurse for more than 40 years. Florida became her home until she and her husband Perry retired and moved to Georgia to be closer to their family.

Anyone who knew her would tell you that she was an avid animal lover, particularly when it came to dogs and horses. She bred and raised several litters of Boxers over the years. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her daughters, sons-in-law, grandsons and her extended family in New York.

She is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Arlene Court and her husband Perry Mark. She is survived by her daughters Lisa (Stephen) Morton and Aimee (Chad)Douglas as well as her grandsons Jonah, Seth and Riley. She is also survived by her brother Richard (Debbie) Court and nieces Becky and Betsy.

Arrangements are being handled by Lakeside Funeral Home with a service at the National Cemetery in Canton, GA at a later date.
