Fredie Lamar Shepherd, 74, of Woodstock GA, passed away on 12.14.2022.

Fred was born on 04.24.1948 in Emerson GA. After Fred graduated from Cassville High School in 1966, he became a Vietnam Veteran serving 1968 to 1969. Soon after Returning home he Married Wanda Sue Craver on 07.31.1971. He began his career by joining Local 72 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in 1974 where he practiced commercial HVAC for 49 years.

In 2011, Fred retired and focused on projects around the house, yardwork, vacations to the Beau Rivage, and Vietnam Reunions every summer with his platoon. He always enjoyed watching the Falcons, charcoal grilling, helping people expecting nothing in return, and judging the Local 72 competitions in Charleston, SC.

He is survived by Wife; Wanda Shepherd, Sister; Fran Hall (Cartersville GA), Son; Wesley and Kasey Shepherd, and Grandchildren Lucas and Madison.
