Gabrielle Ann Sullivan, 83, passed away with loved ones by her side on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Gabrielle was born and raised in Queens (Kew Gardens), New York.

The oldest of ten children, Gabrielle nurtured and cared for her siblings, and she continued to live that loving and caring nature throughout her life. Gabrielle's home was everybody's home; her open door welcomed family, friends, and even strangers with love and delicious food, compliments of her husband John's invitation in a minute's notice. As Gabrielle would always say, "He had a good heart." Known for her famous spaghetti and meatballs, the grandkids are already determined to duplicate her delectable entrée.

A devout member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Gabrielle never missed the 6:30 mass on her way to work. She participated in the over 50's luncheons, chili cook-offs, and church-sponsored activities.

She loved her children and grandchildren. They reciprocated that love with daily phone calls, drop in visits, and oftentimes her favorite snacks. Nothing was too good for their Mom or for their Nanny. Gabrielle taught them the value of hard work, believing in themselves, and pursuing their goals along life's journey. By her very actions, Gabrielle taught them to give and share freely and never forget their Irish Ancestry.

Gabrielle is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Sullivan of 42 years, parents Vincent and Josephine Loughlin, sister Kathleen Goody, brother Francis Loughlin, brother Brendan Loughlin, and brother Christopher Loughlin. Gabrielle leaves behind son John Patrick Sullivan, son Justin Vincent Sullivan (Jessica), daughter Katherine Ann Sullivan, six grandchildren (Autumn, Michael, Brodi, Kaitlyn, Brianne, Stella), brother Kevin Loughlin (Kathy), sister Bernadette Fitzenhagen, brother Vincent Loughlin (Claire), brother Thomas Loughlin (Kathy), and brother James Loughlin, 14 nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Gabrielle may be made to Catholic Church of St. Ann ( St.Ann.org ) , Tunnel To Towers Foundation ( t2t.org ), and St. Jude's Children's ( st.jude.org ).

A mass is scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church
4905 Roswell Road
Marietta, GA 30062.
