Gerald (Jerry, JT) Lane Tucker passed away January 11, 2019 after a struggle with cancer. Jerry was born March 11, 1947 in Carthage, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his Father, Otho and his Mother, Emma Louise, his brother Jeff Tucker, sisters Kathleen Evick and Faye Fortier. He is survived by his wife, Doris Tucker, daughter Cheryl Tucker, grandsons Garrett Tucker and Quincy (Lauren) Smith, brother Al (Beverly) Tucker, niece Peggy Sue Smith and nephews Jeff (Maribeth) Tucker and Jim Tucker, niece Debbie (Larry) Daus, nephew Kirk (Bren) Tucker niece Carla (Nick) Williamson and children, nephew Gary (Liz) Evick, Denny, Thomas and Roxanne Fortier, sister in law Shelly Starr, nephews Zechariah and Gordon, plus several great nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a retired truck driver and an avid bass fisherman. Loved animals and especially his dog Buddy.  He will be missed by his many friends and family who all loved him. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor.

Cremation will take place at Lakeside Funeral Home, Woodstock, Ga. A memorial will take place at a later time. Details will be announced after input from family and friends.
