Helen "Mickie" Henrich, age 61, of Acworth, GA., passed away suddenly on Friday, April 26, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa, to the late James and Miriam Shanley, but lived her entire life in Georgia. There she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing prior to earning her Chartered Financial Consultant Designation.

Mickie was the beloved wife to Keith, her Jr. High and High School sweetheart, and loving mother to her children Jeremy and Amie.

She was a friendly and outgoing person (never met a stranger), loving and kind (would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need), and a devoted active member of Cornerstone Community Church.

Mickie loved spending time with her family, especially family game night and spoiling her grandkids. She also loved her dogs (she talked to them, and they would talk back to her).   She was very creative and loved to spend time writing, decorating, and doing craft projects. Mickie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Henrich; son, Jeremy (Misty) Harris; daughter, Amie (Chris) Kessler; grandchildren, Madalyn & Thomas-James; brothers, Robert (Julie) Connely & Scott (Buffie) Shanley; nieces and nephews, Robert, Morgan, Hannah & Davis; mother-in-law, Beverly Henrich; sister-in-law, Cynthia Henrich; and numerous loving extended family members and friends.

Visitations are scheduled for Friday, May 3, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10:00 – 10:45 am. The funeral service will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Kight officiating, interment to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton, GA.
