Helene Carter, age 79, of Roswell, GA, passed away on July 26th, 2024. She was born July 28th,1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Helene grew up in South Florida, with her older brother Robert Myers, her only sibling, where she lived for many years.

Helene is survived by her three children and her brother, Robert Myers. Her oldest son Richard Scarborough (wife Bryn) of Orlando, Florida, her middle son Robert Scarborough (wife Nickey) of Roswell, Georgia, and her only daughter, Kelly Thompson (husband Mitch), of Roswell, Georgia. She had 7 grandchildren, Sam, Will, Zack, Jack, Peter, Chase and Kyle, who were the apples of her eye and one of her greatest joys in life.

Helene was a devoted Christian, raised in the Catholic church; her unwavering faith and love for her family were evident in everything she did.

Helene was a vibrant, friendly, fun-loving, beautiful person with a huge personality and an unmistakable laugh. She brightened every room she entered and made everyone around her happy by just being near her.

Helene will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, faith, and dedication to her family will continue to inspire all those who were touched by her life.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on August 24, 2024, at Lakeside Funeral home in Woodstock, Georgia.
