Mr. Ivey A. Smith Jr., age 81, of Acworth, passed peacefully, on February 24, 2020, with his loving family at his side.

Ivey was a man of the highest integrity, those that knew him, knew that he would drop anything, and offer help on a second's notice. The times he was there to help friends and family, are too numerous to count. He was a kind, gentle, caring man, who never spoke ill of anyone. He was also very mechanical, and could fix anything. His hobbies include camping, hunting, and Nascar. He was an avid water skier, and an Alabama fan, but loved nothing more, than spending time with his wife, and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Jeanette Gardner and Peggy Smith.

Survivors include, his loving wife of 61 years; Linda, daughters; Lisa (Kenny) Baker and Gina (David) Auld, grandchildren; Brad and Corey Baker and Hunter and Hannah Auld.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Elizabeth Baptist Church (315 Kurtz Rd. Marietta, GA. 30066) at 1:00. Visitation will be held before service from 11:00-12:30.
