Jacqueline Dean Sessions of Woodstock, GA, age 84, passed peacefully to her eternal home in Heaven on October 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Jackie was born December 25, 1938, in Birmingham, AL. Affectionately known as "Nana" to her family and friends, Nana was big hearted, full of life, and "Truly" loved her family. She was a full time Mom of five children and became a cosmetologist to help support her young family.
"Nana" was always present at local ball parks watching her grandsons play ball and never missed a theatre performance of her granddaughter. She always made her children's and grandchildren's friends feel like they were family, because in her heart they were. Her favorite moments included time with family at the lake and annual family beach trips. She most recently enjoyed spending time in "Nana's Swing" by her firepit. She was an avid Atlanta Braves and Elvis fan!
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sessions, of 61 years, her daughter, Sara Sessions, and her son-in-law, George Jance, Jr.
Survivors include daughter Joni Jance (Danny) Dukes; son Gary (Christy) Sessions; daughters Gail (Gregg) Moxley and Lori (T.J.) Hall; grandchildren Megan Jance (Matt Siano), George Jance, III, Brandon Hall, Louis Hall, and Eden Sessions.
Celebration of Life at 6PM will also be streamed via Facebook Live for those who are unable to attend in person. Link for Facebook Live is here:
