Janice Mae Davis, surrounded by so much love, passed peacefully on March 31, 2025, at the age of 70 in Marietta, Georgia.

Janice was born on August 7, 1954, to Weyland and Lucille Galloway in Mentor, Ohio. In 1971, she met the love of her life, Wayne Davis, in Smyrna, Georgia. It was Janice's radiance, love and faith in Jesus Christ that guided Wayne to his personal relationship with Jesus, as well. They married on September 22, 1972. They were blessed with two daughters, Christina Jan and Heather Lynn.

Janice loved being a mother. She embraced being a grandmother. She truly treasured her family. Her profession was a bank teller, but her true passion was decorating. Janice and Wayne enjoyed antique shopping and loved the hunt for the most unique treasure to refurbish or restore. Janice loved celebrating and decorating for every holiday. Her Easter, 4th of July, Halloween and Christmas decor should have been showcased on TV, in magazines and any tour of homes. Janice and Wayne retired together in Centre, Alabama to a beautiful home on Weiss Lake.

Janice was predeceased by her husband Wayne, her father Weyland, her mother Lucille and her sisters Ginger and Trudy. Janice is survived by her daughters Christina (L. David Holmes IV) and Heather (Nathaniel Mark La Fera), her grandchildren Sage Holmes, Davis Holmes and Leonardo La Fera, her sister Wendy (Brian Morrow) and their two daughters and her sister Gloria (Allen Bryant).

Janice's million-dollar smile will be forever remembered and cherished. Janice and Wayne's service to celebrate their lives will be on June 5, 2025, at 11:00am at Woodstock City Church.
