Jean Eleanor Tegeler, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday October 8th at the age of 93 in her home in Woodstock, Georgia. Never married, she was the youngest of 3 sisters and was a loving, treasured aunt. She is survived by her nephew Joe Nastasi and his wife Bridget of Marietta, Georgia; cousins Ruthellen Cheney and George Welker of New Jersey and their families; a great nephew Kevin Nastasi and great nieces Allison and Sarah Nastasi. Jean loved to garden and loved animals, rescuing and adopting many over the years. She loved music, played piano and worked as an organist part time in addition to working as an executive assistant for the Egan Machinery Company. She was very proud to be the first person in her family to drive a car, even before her father, mother and older sisters. She was a very independent person and proud of her independence.
