Jerry Lee Neese, Sr., 75, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, in his home in Woodstock, GA.
He is preceded in death by his Father, J. W. Neese, his Mother, Elda Bentley, and his Sister, Margie Murphy.
Jerry is survived by his Wife, Donna Neese of Woodstock, GA; his Sons, Jerry (Jessica) Neese Jr. of Woodstock, GA and Stacey (Tammy) Neese of Woodstock, GA; his daughter, Angel Parker-Nichols of Dallas, GA; two brothers, Willie Neese of Temple, GA and Joseph Neese of Cartersville, GA; sister Janie Dobbs of Canton, GA; grandchildren Jacob Mason, Blake (Ashley) Neese, Cameron Neese, Casey Neese, and Chelsea Neese; and great-grandchildren Wyatt Neese and Regan Neese; and lots of nieces and nephews.
He was a lifelong resident of Woodstock, GA. He was a husband for 56 years to his wife, Donna. A Father to his two sons, Jerry Jr. and Stacey with one daughter, Angel. He was a Grandfather to four boys, Jacob, Blake, Casey, and Cameron with one Granddaughter, Chelsea. A Great-Grandfather to a little girl, Regan and little boy, Wyatt. He was our best friend and will be dearly missed.
He was known as Big Jerry as he was Sr. and his oldest son was Little Jerry, who was Jr. Our father had a passion for wreckers and worked for a towing company in his earlier days, until he embarked on his own adventure to own his own wrecker service. He had his business "Neese Towing" for almost 25 years. His wife, sons, and grandchildren were all part of the family business that he created and that has become his legacy. Some in the community have also referred to him as "Pops."
He always had a smile and a great sense of humor. We are so proud of our father and all his accomplishments. He was a veteran of the US Army as well.
We will hold his memory dear to us.
May he rest in peace.
Love, His family.
Per our father's request, he will be cremated, and a private celebration of his life will be held for his immediate family at an undisclosed date at his home. He will be honored as a veteran of the US Army. The family asks for privacy during this time as we mourn.
