Jimmy Edmondson was born on November 26, 1969, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. He lived a life rooted in love, laughter, and the outdoors.

Jimmy had a lifelong love for fishing and being outside, finding peace and happiness near the water. A true Georgia native at heart, he was a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan and never missed a chance to cheer them on.

Known for his quick wit and playful spirit, Jimmy loved to crack jokes and keep everyone laughing—especially when he was trying to aggravate his little sister Joyce and make her mad. One of his favorite pastimes was hiding her phone or keys, always with a grin and the expectation of laughter once the joke was revealed.

Jimmy deeply loved his dogs, including Sophie, Spot (Drifter), and Princess. He also held a special place in his heart for his cherished dachshund, Kristine, who preceded him in death and was never forgotten.

Jimmy was the proud brother-in-law of Michael Rumsey and his trusted shop buddy. The two spent countless days side by side, talking, laughing, and sharing stories, building a bond that went far beyond the shop.

Jimmy will be remembered for his humor, his big heart, and the joy he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him. He leaves behind countless memories, laughter, and stories that will live on forever.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Price, and step-sister Darlene.

He is survived by his father Jerry Edmondson, stepmom Betty Edmondson, sister Joyce, step-sister Charlene, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held for Jimmy on Sunday, January 4 at 2 pm, with a visitation starting at 11 am at Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Dr. Woodstock, GA 30188.
