Mrs. Judy Darlene West, age 59, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 5, 1966, in Gainesville, Georgia, Judy was the daughter of Winford Puckett and Geraldine Puckett. Early in her life, she worked as a nursing assistant and daycare teacher, dedicating herself to caring for others. After marrying the love of her life, Sanford West, and starting a family, Judy embraced her role as a full-time homemaker, devoting herself wholeheartedly to raising her children.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Affectionately known as "Nana" for the past 17 years, she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Judy shared 42 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Sanford West. Together they built a loving family and raised four children: Larry West, Iris Guillot, Tammi Brassch, and Sanford West Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father, Winford Puckett, and her sister, Debbie Waldrup.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Sanford West; her mother, Geraldine Puckett; her siblings, Lisa Graham and Lynn Puckett; her sons, Larry West and Sanford West Jr.; her daughters, Iris Guillot and Tammi Braasch; and her six beloved grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly.

Though she will be deeply missed, Judy's legacy of love, devotion, and family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
