Evelyn Julianna Bray (Julie) of Canton, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 in her apartment in Delmar of Gwinnett Senior Living Facility.  In July of 1944, Julie was born and raised in Thomasville, GA.  Julie is survived by her younger sister, Trish Bryan, her three children, Michelle Bray, Marty Bray, and Michael Bray, along with five grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed.

Julie acquired many sweet nicknames throughout her life - Julie Bug, Bug, Nana, and Juejue. She loved them all.  During her life, she was a devoted wife, loving and self-sacrificing mother and grandmother, great cook, amazing seamstress, wonderful gardener and a fun-loving bank teller. She also loved to travel and go antique shopping.

Her life was an example of kindness, warmth, and fun. She always had a smile on her face and loved working with people. She loved to be helpful and needed.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at Events on Main in historic downtown Canton, Georgia on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2pm. The address is 145 West Main Street, Suite 100, Canton, GA 30114.  All family and friends are welcome.
