Karen Elizabeth Donahue, aged 69, of Acworth, GA passed away at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital on August 28, 2021. A Family "Celebration of Life" service will be held on Friday , September 10, 2021 at Cornerstone Community Church at 4206 N. Arnold Mill Rd., Woodstock GA 30188 with Reverend David Kight presiding.

Karen Elizabeth Donahue was born on June 23, 1952 in Atlanta, GA to Robert and Anne Smith. Karen was active, adventurous, and loved to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed gardening, celebrating the holidays, and spending quality time with each of her children and many grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren, and she could often be found watching movies, cooking, and mentoring them. She will be deeply missed by all that loved her. Karen was predeceased in death by her parents Robert and Ann Smith and love of her life, partner Tom Dunne. She is survived by her six children: Lisa (Wesley) Rager, Troy (Kumi) Donahue, Brandon (Rachel) Donahue, David (Nacole) Carrigan, Tiffany Donahue, and Justin Donahue, as well as 27 precious grandchildren whom she loved "way up to the stars and back".
