Katie Dianne Strickland, 35, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Canton, Georgia after a courageous battle with cancer. Katie was surrounded by her family, daughter Brinley Anniston(5), mother and father, Cindy and Michael Strickland, and brother, Tyler Korsack.
Katie was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to all who knew her. She was known for her strength, kindness, generosity and love for all animals. Katie was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared deeply for the people around her. She made an impact on many lives and had the biggest heart. She was fearless and compassionate.
One of her favorite places was the beach where she spent many hours photographing her daughter and sunsets. Katie's passion for photography and incredible artist talent allowed her to capture the beauty of everyday life, creating lasting memories for herself and others. Her artistic vision and keen eye for detail were evident in every photo she took.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the enduring impact she had on all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the values she instilled and the love she shared. A private memorial honoring Katie's life and legacy that reflects her spirit and passions will be held at a later date for invited family and friends who knew and loved her to celebrate and bid her farewell.
She is survived by her daughter, Brinley Anniston(5), her mother and father, Cindy and Michael Strickland; her brother, Tyler Korsack.

When we stand firm in our faith, despite the storms that come our way, we are not only proving our devotion but also aligning ourselves with God's divine promise. The crown of life, eternal reward from our loving Father, awaits those who remain steadfast in their love and trust in Him.
Blessed are those who persevere under trial, because when they stood the test, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
