Lawrence Henry Neuman, 89, a loving father and grandfather (Papa), passed away peacefully at home on April 13th.

Larry was born on September 9, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio. After completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served our country for four years and then continued his service afterwards through the Reserves.

Larry met his wife Rosie at a local Cincinnati big band concert. They were married approximately a year later on September 29, 1962. They continued to live in the Cincinnati area as he began his 30 plus year career with AT&T. Larry also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he dedicated many years to service and charity.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosie Neuman; his children, Phyllis Neuman, Peggy (Scott) Thornton, Perry (Rosario) Neuman, and Pamela (Justin) Johns; his grandchildren, Steven, Sara, and Joe Thornton, Julia and Evan Neuman, and Gavin and Owen Johns.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2 pm. The family will greet friends for a viewing on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9 am to 12 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home. Interment at Georgia National Cemetery will occur on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 9:30 am with a procession leaving from Lakeside Funeral Home at 8:30 am.
