Linda Castellon Harris, 78, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, October 20, 2025.
She was born on April 2, 1947, in Meridian, Mississippi, grew up in Athens, Georgia and later moved to Marietta in 1979. Linda lived a life defined by her faith in Jesus Christ, loving her family, and serving compassionately for others. Her greatest calling was being a devoted mother to her two boys, Scott and Gregg, and being a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Woodstock for many years.
Professionally, Linda had a long career at Harry Norman Realtors where she made lifelong friendships, and later in mortgage banking at Homebanc and BOA. Her proudest moments were always the ones shared with loved ones, laughing with family, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, tending to her garden, and beach trips with her mom, brothers and sisters in laws, and her best friend, Annie.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Lopez Castellon and Dorothy Gregory Castellon; her brothers, Michael and David Castellon; and her former husband, Charles ("Tony") Harris.
She is survived by her sons, Gregg Harris (wife, LeeAnn) and Scott Harris; her grandchildren, Michael Suit, Jessica Suit, Hudson Harris, and Penelope Harris; and her great-grandchildren, Elijah Suit, Norah Suit, and Annie Suit. She is also lovingly remembered by in laws Keith and Simone Harris, Carol and Karen Castellon, nephews Michael Castellon, August and Mark Edgington.
A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The family will begin receiving guests at 10am, prior to the 11am service, with food and fellowship to follow.
Location: Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Drive, Woodstock, GA 30188. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jim Law of First Baptist Church Woodstock, and all are welcome to attend.
Linda's legacy of faith, love, and laughter will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.
