Lori Ann Miraglia passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, May 3rd, 2021 surrounded by her loving husband and sons. Lori, a leap year baby, was born February 29th, 1956, in Schenectady, NY to her parents Lois and Eugene Siudy. She graduated from Hadley-Luzerne High School and was an alumnus of SUNY Cobleskill. Married to Phillip Miraglia on September 9th, 1978 they began their lives together in Boston MA before moving to Lake Luzerne NY in 1980 where they started their family. In 1987 with their 2 oldest sons Matthew and James they moved to Woodstock, GA. where she gave birth to their son David.
Lori worked as a project manager for many years and was adept at managing multiple projects at a time. Inventive and creative, Lori had a successful endeavor as an arts and crafts business owner. Always the entrepreneur, she enjoyed working for nearly 10 years as a consultant and manager for The Pampered Chef allowing her to devote more time to her children. Of all her jobs and positions, Lori said the one she loved the most was being a Bus Driver for Cherokee County Schools. Lori lived her life with passion and tenacity, was inventive and creative, often working on a number of tasks and ideas simultaneously, often with great success. Lori also had a thirst for adventure, never one to shy away from seeing new places or trying new things. Known for her compassion, she made everyone who met her feel as if they were old friends. But her number one priority in life was her family; she was fiercely devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Lori was preceded in death by her son, David, and her parents, Lois and Eugene Siudy. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Phillip, son Matthew and his wife Caitlin, son James, and her grandchildren Lilliana and Madelyn. She leaves behind: 4 brothers, 8 nieces and 7 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Dr. Woodstock, GA 30188. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 14th at 3pm at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 1815 Blackwell Rd. Marietta GA. 30066.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation in Lori's name to the Marietta Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, an organization for which she participated and volunteered.
