Marcia "Marcie" Powers, 66, of Woodstock GA passed away on Monday March 25, 2024. Marcia was married to her best friend Steven "Glenn" Powers for 44 years. She is Mom to Jennifer Zila (Jonathan) and Elizabeth Noel (Abhishake); Oma to six grandchildren: Haven, True, Davianna, Silas, Holland, and Deacon.

Marcia loved gardening, cooking, caring for her family, and Jesus most of all. She was a quiet and constant example of His love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Eddie Smith. She is survived by her mama, Maria Irmgard Smith; her siblings Edith Webb (Jack), Michael Smith (Jan), Andrew Smith (Michele), and David Smith (Mitzi); her daughters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 28th from 7-9pm at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock. A memorial service will be held at the same location on Friday, March 29th, 2024 at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gideons, the Parkinson's Foundation, or International Sports Federation.
