Mark Raymond Setchell, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9th, 2019. He was born on March 23rd, 1970 in Killeen, Texas to Jerry and Donna Setchell. He was a 1988 graduate of St. Pius X Catholic High School and later graduated from the University of Georgia. On July 11th, 1998 he married Melinda Sue Northway and they were blessed with twenty loving years of marriage and three precious children; Madison Marie (20), Meagan Rae (17), and Michael Thomas (13). He worked for First Data Corporation for 23 years and most recently for The Scheduling Institute as a facility manager.

Mark was a loving and devoted husband and father and put his family first in everything that he did. He was the kind of man that always stepped up to help others without being asked, the man who cheered the loudest for his kids whether it be in the theater, swimming pool or baseball field. He was the man who was never too busy to redecorate his daughter's room, shoot hoops with his son, fix his daughter's car, or just chill with the family. He enjoyed playing tennis, basketball, playing soccer and dancing with his wife. He was a man of great faith and attended Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna, his maternal and paternal grandparents and beloved dog, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife Melinda, daughters; Madison and Meagan, son; Michael, father; Jerry, step-mother; Phyllis, father and mother-in-law; Mike and Janet, brothers and sisters-in-law; Scott, Debbie, Greg, and Sonia, nephews; Joshua, Matthew, Lucas and Andrew and sweet (but mischevious) dog; Dallas.

A visitation will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm, concluding with a brief prayer service.

Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2019 at 6pm at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA.

Interment scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11am at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
