Martha Perry Tidwell (79), of Woodstock GA passed away on Friday, May 22nd, 2026.  After a life filled with laughter, love, and a loyal devotion to her family, Martha leaves behind a legacy as warm and vibrant as she was. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 43 years, Bobby Tidwell, who has undoubtedly been waiting for her to arrive and liven things up.

Martha's absolute favorite role in life was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived for the moments spent surrounded by her family and friends.

She leaves behind her three children: Greg Tidwell (Colleen), Bambi Youngblood (Terry), and Julie McNeil (Jeff). While she loved them all deeply, it is worth noting that only one of them was ever sent to Space Camp—so we will just let you guess who the favorite was.

Her legacy of love and laughter will live on through her 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom grew up knowing the warmth of her hugs and the sharpness of her wit.

Martha loved big and cherished her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed, but her stories and jokes will be told for generations to come.
