Mary Kennerly Brown, age 95, passed away on September 13, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Manly J. Brown of Atlanta, GA, her parents, John N. and Bevye B. Kennerly of Atlanta, GA, two brothers, John N, Kennerly Jr. of East Point, GA and James W. Kennerly of Atlanta, GA, one sister, Mrs. Sarah K. Sims of Smyrna, GA.

Mrs. Brown was born February 7, 1924 in Atlanta, GA, where she lived until 2007, when she moved to Woodstock, GA to live with her daughter.

She graduated from Fulton High School in 1941. Following graduation, she was employed by Campbell Coal company. She was employed by Engineering Associates Inc for 33 years.

She was an avid Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Atlanta Braves fan. She was a long-time member of Underwood Memorial UMC in Atlanta. Following her move to Woodstock, she became a member of Little River UMC. She was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class and the Ruby Circle of the UMW. She loved her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Julie B. Harpe, of Woodstock, GA, Son & daughter-in-law, Steve and Nona Brown of Braselton, GA, 3 grandchildren,  Jessica B. Croft of Buford, GA, Adam J Brown & Wife, Lauren Brown of Charlotte, NC, Morgan Harpe of Woodstock, GA,3 great-granddaughters, Lyla Grace Croft &  Eleanor Lea Croft of Buford, GA, Annie James Brown of Charlotte, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 15,2019 from 2:00 Pm until 5:00 Pm at Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Dr., Woodstock, Georgia.

A Funeral service will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:00 Am at the Lakeside Funeral Home Chapel in Woodstock, Georgia. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Blvd, NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
