Obituary

Mary Jane Langworthy, 65, of Atlanta, Georgia, died peacefully on October 26, 2024, at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, Georgia.

Mary Jane was born and raised in Prince George, Virginia, on May 19, 1959, to Jimmy and Jean Chudoba, who preceded her in death. Mary Jane attended Prince George High School (Class of '77) and went on to Virginia Tech to become a Hokie, just like her Daddy. She worked as a pharmacy technician for many years and volunteered in many ministries in the Catholic Church. Mary Jane was a loving mother to her children, adoring "Mimi" to her grandchildren, and loyal sibling to her five sisters. Mary Jane loved sports, especially the Atlanta Falcons, the Atlanta Braves, the Washington Redskins, and the Georgia Bulldogs-- you could count on her for any trivia question! She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, cooking, Blue Bloods, country music, and could be found most days with a large box of Milk Duds and a glass of Publix lemonade.  Mary Jane was so proud to be an American.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Kelsey Dudek (Thomas) and Brady Langworthy; grandchildren, Wyatt Thomas and Collins Jane Dudek; sisters, Kathy Chudoba (Dave), Anne Croxton (Tommy), Susan Partel (Kevin), Nancy Burke (Mike), and Janet Berckmueller (Hugh), along with over 40 cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren, all whom she loved and cherished, especially when spending time all together. Mary Jane is leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and compassion and will be dearly missed.
