Obituary

Matthew Ian Conley of Woodstock, GA was called home to the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ on March 7, 2023.

Matthew was born in Marietta, GA on July 31st, 1987, to Mrs. Nancy Conley (Woodstock, GA) and the late Mr. Edwin Conley (formerly of Woodstock, GA). Matthew is the beloved brother of Elaina Bogert (Woodstock, GA) and late Christopher Conley (formerly Woodstock, GA). He is the cherished uncle of Morgan Conley and Layla Bogert as well as the dearest friend to many, many more. Matthew is also survived by his son, Edwin "Tanner" Conley and bonus son, Aiden Thomas along with their mother, Tracy Evans of Edgewater, FL

Matthew was a Woodstock Highschool class of 2005 graduate who went on to attend local North Metro Technical College with a primary focus towards a degree in Radiology Tech. He had a passion for the car industry which developed early on in life as he spent many days in the family's garage at his childhood home observing in complete fascination as his late father and brother worked tediously tinkering on family vehicles and projects cars. As he grew older, his love for cars veered towards the detailing field of the industry. He had such a love for his line of work and took extreme pride in all he did within the field as he climbed his way upward eventually obtaining his own store under the Mr. Clean Corporation in 2019. He made it his personal mission to ensure the satisfaction of each and every customer he was blessed to have worked with which often resulted in lifelong relationships with many of those clients we now know simply as friends.

Though he had a passion for his line of work, for Matthew, his heart remained in his devotion to Jesus and his love for his family putting a backseat to all others in comparison.  His love for his boys had a strength that can be felt even after death. Matthew praised Jesus daily for their wellbeing. He continuously thanked his savior above for the blessing of being called "daddy" taking such honor to have been chosen to be theirs. They were his entire world, and he made sure that the rest of the world knew it. He was such a proud father and that pride beamed in his eyes every time he looked into theirs. We find comfort in knowing they now have a true guardian angel looking over them both until we are all reunited in God's kingdom again.
