NADIA KIROLLOS GUIRGUIS

February 17, 1932 – December 30, 2022

Nadia Kirollos Guirguis, of Marietta, GA, passed away on December 30, 2022. Born on February 17, 1932 in Cairo, Egypt Nadia was the fifth oldest of eight children. She is survived by her sons, Tarek Hassib and Ash Hassib & his wife Kerstin Hecht-Hassib, and her grandchildren Alexander and Julian. She leaves behind her brother George Guirguis of New Jersey and Afaf Shehata of Florida.

Before retiring and moving to the United States, Nadia was a high level official within the Egyptian social services and she devoted her career to serving and supporting people and families in need.

Nadia was a devout Christian and she embodied all the true Christian values in her daily life. She drew strength from her faith to cope with any challenges she had in her life, and she never complained or criticized anyone. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 11450 Houze Road, Roswell, Georgia at 12:00pm on Thursday January 5, 2023. This will be followed by interment at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.
