It is with a profound sense of sadness that the family of Patricia Hood Hulsey announce that she went to
be with her Lord Jesus on Jan. 20 th , 2023. Pat was born in Marietta, Ga on 02/22/1943, where she lived
until married in 1962. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and
friend.

She loved her home and family passionately and loved them and others. Pat loved the Lord with all her
heart and was committed to serving Him for her entire life. She loved little children, having taught 5 yr.
olds in Sunday School at First Baptist Woodstock for 56 yrs. She was a caring and giving person both with
her time, talents and possessions.

Pat attended R. L. Osborne High School where she graduated with honors and was selected Miss O.H.S.
and "Queen of Hearts". She was also crowned Miss Congeniality at the Cobb County Fair.
Pat was preceded in death by her dad, Max L Hood, her mom, Atheleen Hood, her brother, Tony Hood,
and an infant sister, Jennifer Maxine Hood.
Pat will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Her radiant smile and shining eyes could not be
ignored.

She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Buddy Hulsey, one daughter, Bethany Thomas (Steve), one
son, Barry Hulsey (Becky), 2 sisters, Joy Weaver (Jerry) and Judy Harvill (Morgan), 4 grandchildren, Chris,
Clayton, Clara and Catie, several nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist of Woodstock chapel on Sat., Jan. 28 th . Visitation will
begin at 12 noon until 2PM, followed at 2PM by the memorial service. Lakeside Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
