Patricia "Pat" Smith, 64, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Pat was born December 12, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her husband David, Daughter Jessica, son Daniel, daughter Denise (Mike), and brother Bill (Socorro).

Pat was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She had a rough beginning to life as her parents died at a young age and her, and her brother spent a brief period in an orphanage. They were eventually taken in by their uncle on her dad's side. She was the youngest of 4 children living in her uncle's house. I would describe Pat as a young girl and young woman always searching for love. She eventually found the love she was searching for and needed when she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

She helped to start a church in San Antonio called "God's Warehouse". She really helped with the music ministry and with all church gatherings serving people. She also helped with children, a passion of hers. The church is no longer there, but the memory and the work she did for God was evident. While in this church, she prayed to God to bring her a husband. In a very strange course of events, which we now know was guided by God, David was invited to attend a service where he and Pat met for the first time. They dated only 2 months and tied the knot on July 12, 1996, and have been married for the last 28 years.

Pat was a very loving mother and exemplified Proverbs 31: "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies." She adored the opportunity to be what people would call a "traditional" woman, wife, and mother. While she lived for Christ first, she lived on this earth for her family and only wanted the best for them. She was our "rock" which bound us all together.

There will be a Memorial Service at 5pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Lakeside Funeral Home. The family will welcome guests for an hour before. Address is 121 Claremore Dr; Woodstock, GA 30188

If planning to attend the service, wearing Jeans is mandatory!!!!!!! Pat wanted everything to be casual and fun in life so the family will be wearing jeans to honor her.
