Pierrette Mirelle Pauquette, 84, passed away on January 28th, 2021 at Tranquility Hospice. She was born in Mardiè, France on December 15, 1936 and grew up on a farm in Vennecy, France with her parents and six sisters. She moved to the US in 1964 and lived much of her life in upstate New York before she moved to Woodstock, Georgia.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. During WWII, she grew up in occupied France and had many stories to pass on to her children of the hardships of that era. She loved being a stay at home mom tending to her boys and enjoyed gardening all her life. Her boys knew her as a loving and caring mother.
Survivors include her sons Phillip, Bryan and Paul, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her sisters Raymonde, Danielle, Reine, Renèe, Suzanne, and Dominique.
Funeral services will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Woodstock, Georgia on February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am followed by interment at Rolling Hills Memorial Gardens in Acworth, Georgia. A visitation will be held with family and friends at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock.
