Roy Lamar Mann Sr., 75, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on June 3, 2022. Mr. Mann was born on February 3, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lamar graduated from South Cobb High School and then honorably served in the United States Navy. After 50 years of truck driving, Mr. Mann retired from FedEx.

Lamar is preceded in death by his mother and father; wife, Janice A. Mann; and great-grandson, Brentley Kade Mann.

He is survived by siblings, Margaret Gilley, Beth Mann, and Johnny Mann; children, Roy (Brenda) Mann, Terri (James) Sloan, Kelli (Mike) Bailey, and Tony (Jill) Whitfield. Also surviving are five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to his caregiver, Destiny Robinson, whom he considered family.
