Regina Prestridge passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 81. She was surrounded by loved ones. Regina was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 22, 1942 and was the first child of Durward (Dude) and Margaret Bearden. She married her high school sweetheart, Leland Tim Prestridge, in 1958, and together they raised three boys and delighted in their role as grandparents to their 8 grandchildren. Regina enjoyed spending her time walking, reading, and soaking up the sun. A famously amazing cook, she was perhaps most content when preparing a huge meal for her family. Although she and Tim spent years living in both Georgia and Texas, they were happy to retire to their home on beautiful Lake Martin in Alabama, which had long been a summer gathering place for their family.

Regina is preceded in death by her parents, Dude and Margaret Bearden, her brothers, Larry and David Bearden, and her cherished son, Bradley Scott Prestridge. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Tim Prestridge, her sons, Greg ( Jill) Prestridge, Wade (Shelly Prestridge), her daughter in law, Misty Prestridge, her sister, Sharon Erwin, her eight grandchildren, Bethany, Stephanie, Allison, Timothy, Justin, Aimee, Hunter and Devin, and her 12 great grandchildren.
