Mr. Richard "Dick" Arthur Unsworth, 78, of Woodstock, GA, passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2026.

Born on October 2, 1947, in Waltham, MA, he was the son of Lillian and Dick Unsworth. He attended Bedford High School and later earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1980. He built a successful career in sales with Pitney Bowes and Ascom Hasler in Atlanta. Outside of work, Dick found joy in golf, tennis, music, especially playing the drums and piano, and photography.

On August 30, 1980, Dick married the love of his life, Ellen Quinn, in Hillsdale, NJ. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family, raising their daughter, Brittany, and son, Richard Jr. Nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with those he loved.

Dick is survived by his devoted wife, Ellen; his daughter, Brittany Jeanne Unsworth; his son, Richard Arthur Unsworth, Jr.; and his two grandsons, Owen and Miles Mason who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his siblings: Shirley Harrison, James Unsworth (Linda), Deborah Sawicki (Dominic); siblings-in-law: Kathleen Mayer (Alan), Michael Quinn (Jayne), Lydia Pistilli, Daniel Quinn, and Mary Ann Goodell (Geoffrey); and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home. In honor of Dick's love of golf and the Florida Gators, guests are encouraged to wear their favorite golf shirt or orange and blue. If you care to share a memory, there will be time to do so around 3:00.
