Robert Edward Byrd, age 55, of Woodstock, passed peacefully, on January 1, 2019 at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

Robert was born in Marietta, Georgia., on January 25, 1963 to his loving parents, Charles and Eugenia Byrd. He attended and graduated from Short and Reinhardt. Taught special ed at Loving good Middle School, and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock.

Robert's hobbies included, Shooting, Hunting, Guitar, Horses and Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.

Survivors include his loving parents Charles and Eugenia Byrd, Siblings; Louise, Charlie, Bill (Bobbie). Nephew Eric, Niece Kelsey, Aunts; Bette, Margaret, and several cousins and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lakeside Funeral Home from 10:00am until 2:00pm.

Memorial Service will follow, for Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lakeside Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm.

Interment to follow at Enon Cemetery in Woodstock.
