Robert "Bobby" Dunn Carson, 90, of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024 at home surrounded by family.

Bobby was born on September 12, 1933 in Smyrna, GA to Wilton and Clara Carson. He was a graduate of Smyrna High School and served in the US Army from 1955 to 1960. Two years after exiting the army, he married his loving wife Gennie and had two children, Layne and Rob.

Bobby was a Deacon at First Baptist Church Woodstock, a major contributor to S.C.R.A, and a lifetime member of the Etowah Yacht Club. He was an avid sportsman and spent many years on and around Lake Allatoona.

Bobby is preceded in death by his beloved wife Gennie Carson, his daughter Layne Fudge, grandson Alex Carson, father Wilton Carson, mother Clara Carson, brother Wit Carson, and his sister Betty Fitch.

He is survived by: his son Rob and wife Stephanie Carson; grandchildren Kaitlyn Carson, Elliot Fudge, Kelsey Fudge, Jacob Carson, Brianna Carson, Mackenzie Carson, and Nathan Carson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
